Western Red Cedar owes its beauty, color and durability, and resistance to decay and insects due to the presence of natural tannins. These natural extractives may lead to discoloration on exposed surfaces. Extractive discoloration may occur in spite of preventative steps that may be taken and no warranty is provided on natural wood products, including Western Red Cedar, as well as other domestic and exotic soft and hardwoods, or coatings against extractive discoloration, uneven absorption, exact color match or for any other reason. Because most of our products are made from wood that is grown naturally and not manufactured, we are not able to guarantee color, color consistency, or able to match or fill orders according to the color desired.
We care about the accuracy of your order, so please inspect your material upon receipt and report any issues prior to installation of any of the material in the order or within 15 days, whichever comes first. Should any damage be visible upon delivery, please note accordingly on accompanying paperwork prior to accepting and call your Sales Representative right away. It is necessary to retain all packaging and no alterations (cutting or installation) should be made to any damaged pieces prior to inspection.
Please note, there will be absolutely no returns or exchanges on most "value" priced materials. Pricing has been set to allow for defects or other less desirable visual characteristics, defects, and waste within the order.
Upon approval of credit, open credit may be established at our sole discretion after establishing a business relationship together for a minimum of 90 days. Regardless of established terms, custom cut, pre-stained or pre-primed, and special orders require a 30 - 50% deposit, and in some instances full payment, at the time the order is placed depending on the size and scope of the job, with the final amount due when the special order is received from the mill and/or pre-stain facility at the main Cedar Country warehouse.

Minimum purchase requirements do apply to special and/or custom orders and it can take up to six weeks before shipment due to product availability, mill schedules, and volume. A deposit is required for all special/custom orders at the time the order is placed, with the final amount due upon completion and before shipment or delivery. Should shipment be delayed at customer request, storage fees may apply.
Once a custom order is placed it can not be canceled and returns will not be accepted nor any credits provided. This includes all specialty cut timbers, siding patterns and/or other custom cut materials, any material that is pre-stained or pre-primed, or any other item brought in for a specific customer. If you are unsure what items may not be canceled or returned, please be sure to discuss with your Sales Person before your place your order. Sorry, we are not able to guarantee a color match any previous samples or orders for any products.
