Cedar and Hardwood Decking

One of the most popular outdoor living spaces are decks made of cedar or hardwood decking because they can be constructed in a range of sizes and designs that fit a family's particular tastes and financial constraints.

Your deck's size depends on the kinds of activities you want to perform there. Your deck must be at least 12' by 12' in size in order to accommodate eight persons for an outside meal. Your deck may offer extra space for outdoor cooking and other activities by expanding this area to 20' x 24'. Cedar Decking

The Pacific coast produced cedar is a more ecologically friendly option than other materials like concrete, metal, or plastic since modern forestry techniques assure an ample supply of western red cedar and Alaskan yellow cedar. 95% of each tree harvested is turned into usable products.

In a wide range of thicknesses and widths, including 5/4x4", 5/4x6", 2x4", and 2x6", with lengths ranging from 8 to 20', we offer a vast assortment of western red cedar and Alaska yellow cedar in knotty or clear grades for decking uses. Additionally, "green" (unseasoned), air-dried, or kiln-dried boards may be available for cedar decking.

Make sure there is enough room between your deck boards for water to drain out in order to prolong the life of your deck. Additionally, to offer more UV protection, we advise applying a penetrating oil-based product like Penofin Ultra Premium. We may arrange to have your decking pre-stained with a factory flood layer of penetrating oil to preserve it, saving you money and time on the project site.

Mahogany Red Batu Decking

Straight, decay-, insect-, and fungus-resistant boards made from this stunning, incredibly robust wood are produced. For many years, it has been applied in the most demanding applications.

Although mahogany red batu decking is offered in a range of sizes, 5/4" x 6" is typically the option used. Also available are complementary balusters, posts, and handrails. There is essentially no shrinking because our mahogany is a kiln-dried product. However, it is advised to leave a 3/16" space between board ends because to the likelihood of growth.
