The Pacific coast produced cedar is a more ecologically friendly option than other materials like concrete, metal, or plastic since modern forestry techniques assure an ample supply of western red cedar and Alaskan yellow cedar. 95% of each tree harvested is turned into usable products. 

In a wide range of thicknesses and widths, including 5/4x4", 5/4x6", 2x4", and 2x6", with lengths ranging from 8 to 20', we offer a vast assortment of western red cedar and Alaska yellow cedar in knotty or clear grades for decking uses. Additionally, "green" (unseasoned), air-dried, or kiln-dried boards may be available for cedar decking.

Make sure there is enough room between your deck boards for water to drain out in order to prolong the life of your deck. Additionally, to offer more UV protection, we advise applying a penetrating oil-based product like Penofin Ultra Premium.
