Whether our clients are based in the Pacific Northwest or around the US, it is always a joy to speak with them, learn about their specific projects, and assist them in choosing the best building materials. We at Cedar Country Lumber are honored to be a little part of someone's dream project as we wrap and prepare to ship each package of specialist building materials to the job site.  The majority of the time, that is the last we ever see of our items, but occasionally we are lucky to receive photos of the materials on the job site and after installation.  We try to share new project photographs as soon as they arrive, so be sure to check back frequently.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if we were fortunate enough to assist you with a project and you would be okay with us using your images on our website and/or social media! We'll link back to your website and give you credit for it!

These days if you drive through practically any neighborhood, you'll see that everyone is thinking about outdoor life. This trend is still continuing strong, ranging from modest decks to enormous outside constructions like covered patios and pergolas! View this recently finished project in Louisiana in which we provided the Western red cedar! Western red cedar is a well-liked material for projects like this because of its low weight and usability!

Red Cedar Shingles and Trim

With its traditional Western red cedar shingles and white trim, this Whidbey Island beach house built by Yonkman Construction is not only a showpiece; the masterfully crafted back deck made from full, rough-sawn Western red cedar timbers we supplied is the exact shape of the island the home is built on. Wow!

In Skagit and Island County, Washington, Yonkman Construction has established an unrivaled reputation for creative design, meticulous construction, and honesty in all facets of the client/builder relationship.

Western red cedar is exclusively cultivated in the Pacific Northwest. Because of the quality and affordability of our goods they are in high demand across the US. We are able to treat our western red cedar and Douglas fir building materials, including western red cedar shingles and shakes, with fire protection to provide our clients piece of mind. Our fire treatment procedure conforms with all construction requirements and has passed rigorous fire and weathering testing.

Malibu, CA is the home of this magnificent bespoke residence. Prior to shipment, all of the external cedar cladding underwent fire treatment. Even though the exterior has been treated, notice how the inside Western red cedar matches the exterior. There is no residue or discernible change after the treatment.
